  • Standards & codes for instrumentation electrical and pneumatic signals.
  • Preparation of loops typical.
  • P & ID – Introduction & abbreviations of symbols and legends.
  • Close/Open loops, split range, cascade loops, etc.
  • ESD/DCS Signals, logics and interlocks and cause and effect diagram.
  • Preparation of IO List & instrumentation index.
  • Hazardous area classification & methods of protection.
  • Ingress protection rating (IP rating).
  • Control valve fundamentals, specification and data sheet preparation of control valve and control valve components as well as control valve characteristics.
  • Flow instruments fundamentals, specification of instrument data sheet and orifice plate.
  • Level instruments fundamentals, specification, data sheet and LRV URV calculations for wet & dry legs.
  • Hook-up and installation details of level instruments.
  • Pressure instruments fundamentals, specification, preparation of data sheet for pressure transmitter and pressure gauges.
